IMO:
This is a good bible for devotional or for daily reading or people who are just begining to read the bible. I used this Bible for a devotional on Jeremiah and found that it was very easy to read and the notes on the time period were very informative. I would caution that this is a paraphrased translation so for serious bible study this may not be the best choice but it does offer a very easy to follow paraphased translation of the Bible.
