Her new neighbor, Jack, adds to the problem. With his home renovations or in Betty's eyes lack of renovations she is ready to pack up and move away. But with two uninvited guest she has to rethink her holiday strategy and let a little Christmas cheer enter into her life and maybe even find a bit of grace for others around her too. A mangy dog and a runaway granddaughter teaches Betty about the miracle of Christmas.
This is a sweet heartwarming story but I was a little disappointed that the dog didn't seem to take on more of a role in the novel. The cover art is adorable and if you enjoy Christmas stories like I do this is a nice one to read to get ready for the holidays.
Thanks to Revell books for giving me a copy of the novel.
