Back cover:
As interior designer and part time baker for Nick Pantalone's coffee shop, Laini thinks she can juggle two jobs and two men. Can She Dot it all or will she just get burned?
When Laini Sullivan lands a job designing Nick Pantalone's coffee shop, there are two problems: one Nick's nephew Joe hates all of her ideas, and two, Laini has to admit he's right-she's a disaster at design. Still she can't risk losing the job. To compromise, Job brings in help on the project, while Laini continues to bake the goodies that keep his customers lining up.
Their relationship is moving along until a new guy Officer Mark Hall implies that Joe's family is tied to the mob. things spin out of control when Laini meets the family, including "the uncles", who seem to confirm Mark's suspicions. To make things worse, Nana Pantalone make it clear Laini isn't the kind of girl she has in mind for her grandson. Laini's not sure if she should give Joe the benefit of the doubt or set her sights on Mark and just fuhgetaboutit.

Tracey Bateman is one of my new favorite authors. I have not read the previous books in the Drama Queen Series but I will now. I love the wit and humor infused in the novel. Tracey is a fresh voice in chick lit and I loved it this book. Leave a comment to be entered in the drawing for the entire set and tell me what you always wanted to be when you grew up? Be sure to leave a way for me to contact you.

I have ALWAYS wanted to "drive truck" meaning the big simi's you see on the highways.
Over the course of a few years awhile back I had the opportunity to work at local farms during the local potato harvest. Eventually they trained me to drive the trucks from field to cellar but though the trucks were WAY big compared to my car, they were small in the real world. Then one year the 'boss' got two new trucks and decided I would be one of the drivers. Another year at a different farm the 'boss' put me in a truck that truly IS a semi!! It wasn't until later that I realized my 'dream' to drive truck had actually come true, though it WAS only from field to farm. Thanks SO MUCH for entering me in the contest for the Drama Queen Series.

First of all, Pam, that's cool that you got to drive a semi! You go girl!
I always wanted to be a veterinarian. Unfortunately, I'm terrible at science and math so there was no way I could've made it through the schooling. I love being involved with every aspect of a vet visit. When my horse was injured a couple of times, I was fascinated by the procedures they used. Not a squeamish bone in me! Ok, I hate vomit, but other than that, not a problem! I'm too old to even dream of being a vet, so I'll stick with the visits.
Thanks for the opportunity to win this set! I haven't read anything by Tracey yet and I'm very excited to start.

As a tomboy, I always wanted to be the first female professional baseball player. *grin*
I love Tracey's chick-lit - her "Claire" series is awesome!
