Review of The Knight by Steven James
If you are under the impression that Christian fiction is sweet and uplifting you haven't read a novel by Steven James. I picked the novel up knowing that it isn't something I normally read (I happen to like sweet and uplifting) and was determined to read this novel. By page 28 four people were dead and the description was enough to make me a bit fearful to go running in the dark in the morning. This is the third book I believe in the Patrick Bowers Thriller series and it will give you goose bumps and keep you looking over your shoulder. Even though it is part of a series I think it could be read and understood without reading the first two books.
From the Back Cover:
FBI Agent Patrick Bowers is used to tracking the country's most dangerous killers, but now it looks like a killer is tracking him. Bowers faces a race against time to decipher who the next victim will be and to stop the final shocking murder-which he's beginning to believe might be his own.
Gritty, chilling and intense, this phychological thriller is guaranteed to keep you up all night.
