Just weeks away from returning to Quantico, Mark has a chance encounter with his first love, Emily Lawson. But their reunion is cut short by a sniper. Now Mark must find the shooter before he strikes again. But what is his motive—and who was his intended target? As they search for answers, the peril escalates. Can Mark put the pieces together, keep Emily safe, and rekindle a relationship at the same time?

I am a big fan of Dee Henderson and when I read that this novel could compare to something she wrote I wanted to read it. I was not disappointed. I have stayed up to well past one in the morning for the past two nights reading this novel. I loved it and handed it to my husband to read. Mark is the typical strong hero who comes in and rescues the girl. I did have a little problem with Emily because I like strong women characters and she at times came across as weak but her compassion and empathy for others demonstrated an amazing love which I believe is what the author was trying to portray.

The novel moves at a very quick pace and from page one you are sucked into the action. I enjoyed reading this novel and can't wait to see if there are more in the series. This novel has a great twist of romance and action.
Thanks you to Revell for providing me with a copy of this novel.
