In my opinion
It's Not About Me is just the kind of fiction young adults need to read in today's world. Michelle Sutton brings very real issues facing teens and young adults right to the forefront. She is not called the Edgy Inspirational author for nothing. I loved the main character Annie Myers from the first and related to her struggle to do the right thing and never cause problems. Boy, how often do we as adults think that if we just behaved and made others happy everything would be great. I loved watching this young woman who had always been a part of the church discover that she didn't really have a relationship with Jesus and her journey to learn how to connect with Him. Well done Michelle. I am can't wait to read more.
