The Friday 56

I found this over at Story time with Tonya

  • * Grab the book nearest you. Right now.

  • * Turn to page 56.* Find the fifth sentence.

  • * Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of this blog.*Post a link along with your post back to this blog.

  • * Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.HAPPY FRIDAY!

Okay here is it goes. A Clever Disguise by Kathleen Fuller

"Do not doubt yourself so. You are a beautiful young woman with a fiery spirit. I know you have had a hard time with Gavin's departure."

What fun!

A Tendering in the Storm by Jane Kirkpatrick

Pg. 56 - We rode along the trail, clopped through one or two little streams that appeared in the spring.

Extra: Blackberry vines threatened the trail; moss-thickened branches hung from the big cedars forcing us to keep watch and for me to duck, but still there was time for musing.

Christmas Blessings,
Sandy

Yayyy! Thanks! I've been trying to get more people to join in AND post on their own blogs. I love the way I've seen similar things done on other blogs and then everyone gets into it. You're the first to post it on your own blog!

This came from Rebel in Blue Jeans, by Beverly Stowe McClure, which is a YA book I got in the mail today.

He put his hand on her waist, gave her a slight push. "I'm right beside you, Rebel. I won't let you fall."
